For the very first time, XR-3 displays augmented content as it should appear; indistinguishable from the real world. What you see through the XR-3 can be perfectly controlled down to the pixel.
You can omit, add and adjust colors, shadows and highlights. It’s easy to replace real objects with virtual ones, as well as blur or simplify exactly the desired view, with no latency observable to the human eye. You can effortlessly switch between virtual, mixed, and real-life scenarios as you work with the XR-3.

With the Varjo XR-3 (left image), virtual objects appear solid and photorealistic. Best of all, they can seamlessly cast shadows on reality in a full field of view with human eye resolution.
With augmented reality (AR) devices based on optical transparency (right image), the virtual content appears holographic and can only be experienced in a narrow field of view.
The XR-3, with its 12-megapixel high-fidelity video stream, lets you explore realistic virtual visualizations as natural extensions of the real world.

The Varjo XR-3 helmet is designed with a 3-point adjustable headband to provide optimal comfort. You can also use the XR-3 without discomfort with glasses, regardless of your head shape and size, even for longer immersive sessions.
Automatic interpupillary distance (IPD), active cooling, frequency images of 90 Hz, ultra-wide and crystal-clear non-Fresnel lenses … All a technology that allows you to work comfortably without eye strain or nausea.
